| A valuable tool when used prior to distortion filters. Tile Prep blends the edges of a layer to remove aliasing & hard edges in the effects that follow it. |

| Horizontal Blend | The percentage of layer to blend across edge horizontally |
| Vertical Blend | The percentage of layer to blend across edge vertically |
| Blend Horizontal From | Set which side of the layer to prep horizontally - Left or Right |
| Blend Vertical From | Set which side of the layer to prep vertically - Top or Bottom |
| Horizontal Blend Compression | Compress the horizontal blend area. The default value of 1.0 is a linear blend. |
| Vertical Blend Compression | Compress the vertical blend area. The default value of 1.0 is a linear blend. |

| Do not use Tile Prep if the effect that follows uses mirroring in the same direction as Tile Prep. Tile Prep uses reflected blending, which will then be re-reflected, and not produce the desired result.
Do use Tile Prep before any plug-in using the 'Wrap' edge behavior, as it will erase the seams, if any. |
